Atlas data sources
What the Atlas shows, where each dataset comes from, how it is integrated, and why other sources are not (yet). Data comes from the operator's own endpoint wherever one exists; community mirrors are not used.

| # | Source | What it gives | Licence | Status | Layers | Why / how | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | BMA Dept. of Drainage and Sewerage, FloodBangkok road and tunnel flood sensorsWater / floods | 254 sensors: live depth (cm), flood start, device status; 5-minute history since 2025 | Public BMA open API; no licence stated | Integrated | water-gauges, flood-events | Read from the operator's own API (Directus, floodbangkok.bangkok.go.th). Cloudflare challenges non-Thai addresses, so live values need a Thai host or the optional ATLAS_TH_PROXY egress; there is no mirror fallback, so an unreachable operator is listed as unavailable and the feed serves its bounded-stale snapshot. Catalogue plus hourly depth history (139 sensors, 24 Sep to 5 Oct 2026) are committed, imported once through the TPN node in Thailand, and power the replay. | Give the production server a Thai egress (ATLAS_TH_PROXY) so live values are always fresh. |
| #2 | BMA Dept. of Drainage and Sewerage, flood-watch camera catalogueWater / floods | 876 cameras: position, name, linked sensor | Public BMA open API; no licence stated | Partially | flood-cameras, traffic-cameras | 2026-10-06 real Chromium via TPN: original FloodBangkok catalogue has 876 cameras. Existing direct adapter retained; private stream hosts and broken public proxy do not establish playable video. | Obtain a working publisher public still/video endpoint; catalogue counts are not playable streams. |
| #3 | Traffy Fondue public API (publicapi.traffy.in.th)Water / floods | Citizen flood reports with time, place, state, photo; the whole 2026 Bangkok event (13 392 reports) | Public API (open data of Traffy Fondue / BMA); reports are unverified | Integrated | flood-events | Newest page read live from Traffy; full history imported once (scripts/build-atlas-bangkok-reports.ts) so a replay shows every report, not only the last 48 h. | Re-run the import periodically (or move it to a worker) so the history file never lags. |
| #4 | BMA DDS flooded main-road report (dds.bangkok.go.th/flood_report.php)Water / floods | Per-day list of flooded main roads: road, district, depth, length, flooded and dried time | Public BMA page; no licence stated | Integrated | flood-events | The page answers Thai addresses only and is HTML; it is parsed natively and read directly from the operator, via a Thai host or the optional ATLAS_TH_PROXY egress. There is no mirror fallback: when unreachable it is listed as unavailable and the bounded-stale snapshot is served. Road geometry is built from OpenStreetMap. | None. |
| #5 | Nonthaburi City Municipality flood monitoring (182.52.224.70)Water / floods | 36 flood-gate cameras (live stills) and water levels at 41 gates | Public municipal website; no licence stated | Integrated | flood-cameras, water-gauges | Station list and Milestone image service read directly; each still is fetched server-side and proxied (plain http, no CORS). Stations whose last reading is older than 48 h show as unknown. The service ignores its date parameter, so there are no past frames. | Ask the municipality for an https endpoint and a licence statement. |
| #6 | Royal Irrigation Department, RID IoT gate stations (ridiot.rid.go.th)Water / floods | 10 canal gate stations with 2 cameras each; stills carry a Last-Modified time | Public RID website; no licence stated | Partially | flood-cameras | Original RID station catalogue/stills retained. Browser inspection establishes gateSensing.level as gate aperture in cm, not a verified water measurement. Missing warning thresholds alone would not prevent displaying a measured gauge. | Find actual water-level telemetry with source units/datum; keep actuator aperture distinct. |
| #7 | ThaiWater / HII (api-v3.thaiwater.net)Water / floods | River, canal, rain and dam telemetry (RID, EGAT, DWR, TMD) with % of bank and storage | Public Thai government data | Integrated | water-gauges, rain | Live feed. History exists per station (waterlevel_graph) but only one station per request, so the layer is not replayable except for BMA road sensors. | Import a bulk history for the main river stations if replay of river levels is wanted. |
| #8 | GISTDA flood extents (daily NE 2022, annual 2009-2014, 2021-22 events)Water / floods | Satellite flood polygons per observation day | Thai government open data (GISTDA portal) | Integrated | flood-events | Imported once; each extent is shown only on the days it was observed. | More events as GISTDA publishes them. |
| #9 | UNOSAT flood extents (2021 Thailand, 2022 Mun basin, 2024 north)Water / floods | Satellite flood polygons | CC BY-SA 4.0 (UNOSAT) | Integrated | flood-events | Imported once from HDX; accumulated extents are shown only inside their stated window. | Add the 2011 archive when a rights-cleared copy is found. |
| #10 | EOS-RS / ARIA flood proxy maps (Bangkok Sep 2026, south 2024-25, Podul 2019)Water / floods | Sentinel-1 / ALOS-2 flood proxy rasters | As published by the producers; attribution shown | Integrated | flood-events | Imported once as transparent rasters. | Check each new release for a licence statement. |
| #11 | Department of Water Resources telemetry CCTV (telemetry.dwr.go.th/reportCctv)Water / floods | 123 river and pumping-station cameras; latest frame about every 30 min | Public DWR website; no licence stated | Integrated | flood-cameras | Camera list and the viewer's own latest-frame lookup used directly (their snapshot links embed a shared password, so we use DWR's image endpoint instead). Each station's position now comes from DWR's own station/getByCode record; the MapScale catalogue only backstops a failed lookup, by name. Older frames are not retained by DWR (404), so there is no past footage. | None for live stills; ask DWR whether an archive exists if replay is wanted. |
| #12 | Copernicus GLO-30 DEM + GISTDA repeated-flooding history (2005-2016)Water / floods | Modelled national flash-flood susceptibility tiles (HAND, flow accumulation, valley confinement) | Copernicus DEM (free incl. commercial, attribution); GISTDA public portal | Integrated | flash-flood-risk | Built once as a 30 m raster pyramid (scripts/build-atlas-flash-risk.ts), no runtime upstream. Labelled as terrain susceptibility, not a forecast; deliberately scores the flat Chao Phraya delta low because that flooding is river and rain-pond driven and has its own layers. A surface model, so canals, culverts and pumps are invisible to it. An older coarse grid (flash-flood-risk.json) used AWS Terrain Tiles. | Replace GLO-30 with a bare-earth DEM if a commercially licensed one appears. |
| #13 | Rangsit City Municipality flood cameras (cdp.rangsitcity.go.th, rangsitcity.go.th/cctvrangsitcity)Water / floods | 2 water-level cameras on cdp.rangsitcity.go.th (Saphan Daeng, Mueang Pathum); 4 links on the older page | n/a; robots.txt: Disallow /api/ except approved flood-report images and videos | Not integrated | none | Checked 2026-10-06. The flood dashboard lists its two cameras in the page, but their pictures come from /api/flood/snapshot/<id>, which the site's robots.txt disallows ("other APIs are closed"), so it is not read. The older rangsitcity.go.th/cctvrangsitcity page links its cameras as http://user:[email protected]:<port>/... with credentials embedded in the URLs; embedded credentials are never used. No usable public source is left. | A Rangsit-published public still or HLS URL, or permission to read the snapshot API. |
| #14 | GISTDA annual flood extents 2009 to 2014 (incl. the 2011 floods) and 2021-22 daily eventsWater / floods | Satellite flood polygons: annual maximum per year, daily frames for Isaan 2022, central 2022, south 2021 | Thai government open data (GISTDA public portal) | Integrated | flood-events | Imported once (scripts/build-atlas-flood-archive.ts). 2011 is an annual maximum extent placed on 30 Nov, not a day-by-day record. | Add more events as GISTDA publishes them. |
| #15 | EOS-RS Hat Yai Nov 2025, south 2024, Isaan/Mun 2022 (UNOSAT), Podul 2019Water / floods | Flood extents for Hat Yai 2025, Isaan 2022 and other named events | CC BY 4.0 (EOS-RS); CC BY-SA 4.0 (UNOSAT) | Integrated | flood-events | Imported once from HDX as rasters or polygons and shown only on their observation days. | Check HDX for new releases after each major event. |
| #16 | BMA ArcGIS Thematic/Drainage, GI_Platform and KaemLing services (cpudgiapp / cpudgiportal.bangkok.go.th)Water / floods | Pumping stations with capacity (m3/s), floodgates, drainage tunnels, monkey-cheek (kaem ling) ponds, King's Dyke line | No licence published on the services (public BMA data); reuse to be confirmed with BMA | Integrated | flood-defences | Imported once through the Thai exit node into pluvial/defences.json (scripts/build-atlas-flood-defences.ts): about 187 BMA pumping stations, gates, 20 tunnel alignments, 38 ponds, plus OSM and a press survey for tunnel capacities. Every feature carries its source. Crest heights and the Chao Phraya riverside wall geometry are not published anywhere reachable, so they are not shown. | Ask BMA for a written reuse licence and the riverside flood-wall geometry. |
| #17 | BMA CPUD Drainage MapServer layers 4 and 5 (81 574 pipes, surveyed road levels) and the 737 flood-risk points (2022 lessons)Water / floods | Drain pipe diameters, inverts, surveyed road and ground level at manholes; flood-watch stretches | No licence published; BMA reuse of the 737-point item confirmed 2026-09-27 | Integrated | heavy-rain | Input to the heavy-rain street model, not a layer of its own. Surveyed levels are used only where BMA measured them because the DEM-derived ground has almost no signal inside Bangkok (r = 0.13). | Confirm reuse terms for the pipe layers with BMA. |
| #18 | Heavy-rain street model (Traffy reports + BMA DDS rain days + OSM + drains + subsidence)Water / floods | Ranked flood likelihood for 295 606 ~100 m street segments in 50 Bangkok districts, for 60, 100 and 200 mm storms | Derived; inputs are Traffy/BMA public reports, ODbL OSM, Copernicus DEM | Integrated | heavy-rain | Fitted once (scripts/atlas-pluvial/*): season AUC 0.77, extreme 2026 storm AUC 0.68 out of sample, above the 0.6 shipping bar. Reports cluster where people live and report; pumps, blocked drains and canal levels on the day are not modelled; not a forecast and not a property assessment. Bangkok only. | Extend beyond Bangkok when comparable report density and surveyed levels exist for another city. |
| #19 | BMA KlongMap (weather.bangkok.go.th/Klongmap) and pumps.bangkok.go.th live pump statusWater / floods | Canal water-station levels and live pump on/off status | Public BMA sites; no licence stated | Partially | water-gauges | Real Chromium via TPN renders 148 BMA pump stations. Adapter imports 143 timestamped water levels with authoritative station coordinates and individual operating states/hours; unsynced synthetic zeros excluded. KlongMap still returns null geography/readings. | Refresh via Thai egress. Pump datum is unspecified; no MSL or danger threshold is invented. |
| #20 | Drainage speeds, canal flow rates and pump discharge (topic)Water / floods | How fast water drains, canal discharge, real pump output | n/a | Not integrated | none | No open dataset publishes canal velocity, discharge or live pump output for Bangkok. What exists is shown: rated pump capacity (BMA register), tunnel capacities (press survey), gate and canal levels (RID, Nonthaburi, ThaiWater) and DDS flooded-and-dried times per road, which give an observed drain time. | BMA DDS or RID releasing discharge telemetry; until then drain time per road comes from the DDS report. |
| #21 | ThaiWater / RID / EGAT dam and reservoir storageWater / floods | Large dams and medium/small reservoirs: storage, % of normal, inflow and outflow | Public Thai government data | Integrated | water-gauges | Live from ThaiWater (api-v3.thaiwater.net analyst/dam, size 1 and 2). No history series in the layer, so no replay of storage. | Bulk history import if replay of dam storage is wanted. |
| #22 | EGAT dam cameras and provincial CCTV networksWater / floods | Live views of dams and provincial flood points | n/a | Not integrated | none | No verified public stream or still endpoint for EGAT dams or for provincial networks is read by the code; the only networks integrated are those listed above (BMA DDS, Nonthaburi, RID, DWR, DOH, iTIC). | Official camera URLs from EGAT or a provincial portal with a stated licence. |
| #23 | rowrow community mirror of BMA flood dataWater / floods | Re-published BMA FloodBangkok and DDS data | Unstated (community mirror of operator data) | Not integrated | none | Removed from the lander completely: a third-party mirror must never be the source for something the operator publishes. The Atlas reads BMA directly (via a Thai host or ATLAS_TH_PROXY); when unreachable it says so and serves the bounded-stale snapshot. | None; keep reading the operators. |
| #24 | KlongMap canal feed (GetDataForUpdate)Water / floods | Canal gauge stations | Public BMA site | Partially | water-gauges | KlongMap GetDataForUpdate returned 405 records with null coordinates/readings/times in a real Chromium session. The separate original BMA pumps resources/water-data endpoint supplies 55 located mMSL canal gauges and is integrated. | Retain the distinct original endpoint provenance and source-time freshness; KlongMap itself remains unusable. |
| #25 | Flood archive before 2009 and daily 2011 (Chao Phraya, Hat Yai 2010)Water / floods | Day-by-day 2011 flood extent | n/a | Partially | flood-events | Existing GISTDA annual maxima include 2011. A daily 2011 or pre-2009 licensed series is not yet imported; annual maximum is not a daily flood observation. | See the additional-source audit for verified historic candidates and unresolved rights. |
| #26 | Berkeley Earth Land and Ocean gridded monthly temperature (1850 to 2024)Weather / climate | 175 years of monthly temperature anomalies at 1 degree over Thailand, with the monthly climatology | CC BY 4.0 | Integrated | temperature | Committed (temperature-monthly) and used for the 100-year temperature history and the climate-change view. Before about 1900 the region has few stations, so early values are statistical infills (the UI says so); a 1-degree cell mixes land and sea and differs from a weather station. Ends December 2024. | Rebuild yearly when Berkeley Earth publishes 2025; a station-level Thai record (TMD) would need a licence. |
| #27 | NASA GIBS: GPM IMERG precipitation (30 min and daily), MERRA-2 monthly precipitationWeather / climate | Satellite rain, observed frames for the rain replay (daily and monthly composites) | NASA open data | Integrated | rain | WMTS tiles read in the browser and re-coloured client-side (colour map to rain rate). This is the rain-history and rain-movement source for past hours and days; it is observation, not a forecast. | None. |
| #28 | NASA POWER monthly precipitation (MERRA-2, bias corrected), 1981 onwardWeather / climate | Rain at a clicked point against its own average (rain-vs-average trend) | NASA open data | Integrated | rain | Fetched live per point by the rain-history feed. A 0.5 degree reanalysis, not a gauge; trends are model-based. | None. |
| #29 | ThaiWater rain gauges (rain_24h, about 4 600 telemetry gauges)Weather / climate | 24 h and 1 h station rainfall from RID, TMD, DWR | Public Thai government data | Integrated | rain, water-gauges | Live feed; no stored history, so no replay of gauge values. Observed rain-movement/nowcast comes from the satellite and GFS fields, not from gauges. | Bulk history if gauge replay is wanted. |
| #30 | TMD radar and nowcast productsWeather / climate | Radar rain echoes and short-range nowcast | n/a | Not integrated | none | No TMD open API or licence for radar imagery was found. Rain movement uses NASA IMERG 30-minute satellite frames and the NOAA GFS 30 h precipitation forecast instead (not as sharp as radar). | A TMD open-data agreement or published radar tiles with a licence. |
| #31 | TMD stations and NOAA METAR (via MapScale API weather-observations)Weather / climate | Station observations | Thai Open Data Common; METAR public | Integrated | weather-stations | Passthrough of the MapScale API, paged nationally. | None. |
| #32 | NOAA WaveWatch III via ERDDAP (CoastWatch NWW3_Global_Best; PacIOOS ww3_global mirror)Weather / sea | Significant wave height, peak period and direction over the Gulf of Thailand, Andaman and South China Sea | US public domain | Integrated | waves | Live, two ERDDAP mirrors of the same model run. Modelled, not buoy-measured; no past frames kept. | Add Thai buoy data if an open source is found. |
| #33 | NOAA GFS 10 m wind grid (via the globe provider sidecar)Weather / sea | Global 10 m wind grid for the animated particle layer | US public domain | Integrated | wind | Fetched by the globe provider sidecar and cached; forecast model, not observations. | None. |
| #34 | NOAA NCEP GFS 0.25 degree via NOMADS (rain forecast 30 h, 2 m temperature last 7 days)Weather / sea | Forecast precipitation rate and recent 3-hourly temperature frames | US public domain | Integrated | rain, temperature | Read live from nomads.ncep.noaa.gov and cached; models, labelled as such. NOMADS keeps only about 8 days. | None. |
| #35 | Pollution Control Department (Air4Thai) live stations and OpenAQ archiveAir | Station PM2.5, PM10 and AQI live; daily PM2.5 archive 30 Apr 2021 to 31 Dec 2024 (166 stations) | Thai Open Data Common; OpenAQ open | Partially | aqi-stations, aqi-heatmap | AWS OpenAQ object archive checked directly, with dated manifests and sampled CSVs. Completed bounded backfill combines PCD/OpenAQ: 251 stations, 1,982 days and 172,706 valid station-days through 2026-10-02. Importer parses quoted CSV correctly and preserves missing days. | Publish the completed bounded backfill; do not infer pollutant absence from empty API results or prefix dates alone. |
| #36 | NASA FIRMS (VIIRS 375 m active fires / hotspots)Air / hazards | Active fire detections, last 24 h | NASA open data | Integrated | fires | Live via the MapScale intelligence layer. No past-season archive in the Atlas. | Import the FIRMS archive if a burning-season replay is wanted. |
| #37 | Department of Mineral Resources sinkhole hazard polygons, karst outcrops and reported eventsHazards | 310 risk polygons (High / Potential), 2 021 karst outcrops, 7 reported events (news-derived) | Creative Commons Attribution per the gdcatalog listing (variant unspecified, treat as CC BY); events: news facts only, OSM Nominatim ODbL for geocoding | Integrated | sinkholes | Fetched through the Thai exit node (geo-blocked) and imported once; scale 1:250 000 hazard areas, not village level, with no low class. Events are a hand-checked list of 7, not a registry; several news items were left out for inconsistent dates or provinces. DMR's own event layer has 4 blank records and is unusable. | A DMR event registry or a newer hazard layer (the catalogue entry dates from 2023). |
| #38 | National coast model: GEDTM30, EOT20 tides, IPCC AR6, Davydzenka 2024 subsidence, ESA WorldCoverClimate | Sea-level-rise inundation and land subsidence for the whole Thai coast, Bangkok at 62 m | CC BY 4.0 for every input; EGM2008/MSL datum offsets are facts | Integrated | sea-level-rise, sea-level-only, land-subsidence | Built once (scripts/build-atlas-coast.py), modelled and labelled as such. Ground is GEDTM30 v1.2 (bare-earth ML model, buildings still read 1-2 m high), tides EOT20 (MHHW), rise IPCC AR6 at Ko Sichang, sinking Davydzenka 2024 (about 1 km, not direct InSAR), present-day water ESA WorldCover 2021. Ignores storm surge, erosion and future defences. | Swap in DeltaDTM when available (see its own row) and add a measured InSAR source if one is licensed. |
| #39 | DeltaDTM v1.1 coastal bare-earth DEM (4TU.ResearchData, Pronk et al. 2024)Climate | Preferred 30 m coastal DTM for the coast model (about 0.4 m error) | CC BY 4.0 | Not integrated | none | 2026-10-06 exact 4TU archive retry returned HTTP 200 text/html (4186 bytes), an explicit repository Maintenance page; Thai egress retry timed out. Builder rejects HTML masquerading as a ZIP and retains labelled GEDTM30 fallback. | Retry after repository restoration, validate ZIP signature/checksum, then rebuild with DeltaDTM. |
| #40 | HII topography and LDD DEMs (gdcatalog.go.th); FABDEM; CoastalDEMClimate | Higher-resolution Thai terrain heights | CC BY-NC / CC BY-NC-ND (HII, LDD); CC BY-NC-SA (FABDEM); proprietary (CoastalDEM) | Not integrated | none | Excluded on purpose: MapScale is a commercial product and these licences forbid commercial use or derivatives. | Written permission from HII / LDD for commercial derivative use. |
| #41 | iTIC Foundation "iTIC Motion" traffic cameras (camera feed on traffic.longdo.com/feed)Transport | 75 live HLS traffic cameras (Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Bangkok, Khon Kaen) of 164 listed; 83 listed cameras are suspended (shared "tempsus" placeholder) and are not shown | The feed is published on iTIC's own data-feed page; no licence is stated for cameras (the iTIC open-data archives are CC BY 4.0 / CC BY-SA 4.0 but contain no cameras). iTIC credit and source link shown | Integrated | traffic-cameras | Read by the MapScale API straight from the feed iTIC publishes (camera.longdo.com/feed/?command=json, the "RSS / JSON: all traffic cameras" link under "Traffic cameras" on iTIC's Traffic Data Feeds page). The streams are on iTIC's own hosts (camera1/camerai1.iticfoundation.org). iTIC is the publisher: every row is organisation "iTIC Motion"; the feed's other organisation (Department of Highways) is not taken from there. Measured 2026-10-06 through a Bangkok exit: 75 of 75 playlists answer, 71 of 75 return live segment bytes, the sequence advances. Stream health is probed on the server; frozen streams are shown as Offline. The feed is served by Longdo (Metamedia), iTIC's data partner, so it is a first-party-listed but partner-hosted endpoint. | Ask iTIC for written redistribution terms and a rate limit; the feed is polled once per 5-minute catalogue refresh. |
| #42 | BMA Traffic and Transport Dept. traffic cameras (bmatraffic.com)Transport | 648 camera positions listed on the site; stills at show.aspx | Public BMA site; footer says all rights reserved (no licence) | Partially | traffic-cameras | Original BMA traffic page via TPN supplies 630 unique valid camera locations on 2026-10-06. Sanitized catalogue excludes private IPs and is integrated. Still endpoint returns blank/maintenance imagery; no playable picture is claimed. | Recheck the publisher still service when maintenance ends; never show the blank placeholder as live. |
| #43 | Department of Highways traffic CCTV (highwaytraffic.go.th)Transport | 208 survey stations with coordinates, route number and km; one or two HLS streams each (in/out directions) | Public DOH website; no licence stated; DOH credit and source link shown | Integrated | traffic-cameras | Read by the MapScale API from the operator's own site, the way the page does it for an anonymous visitor: the home page lists every station with coordinates, route and km, and the page's own GetCameraInfo call (with the anonymous ASP.NET session cookie the page sets) names each station's Wowza HLS playlists on streaming1/2/3.highwaytraffic.go.th. Stream lookups are cached for a day (an hour for a station that names none) and spread over refreshes. No login, captcha or embedded credential is involved. Measured 2026-10-06: 208 stations listed; 144 of 208 first streams return live segment bytes (60 answer 404 because the camera is not publishing, 4 inconclusive); media sequences advance. The streams' TLS certificates omit the Sectigo DV R36 intermediate (browsers fetch it, servers do not), so the server probes add that one public CA beside the normal roots for those hosts only; verification stays on. Not Thai-only. | Ask DOH for written redistribution terms; the older note that most DOH cameras were dead referred to a stale listing, not to these streams. |
| #44 | Department of Rural Roads (drr.go.th) camerasTransport | 3 cameras were on the removed aggregator (HLS on drr-kt-svr02.enixma.net) | n/a | Not integrated | none | Checked 2026-10-06. drr.go.th is a single-page news site whose API (/api/Header, /api/News, /api/video/proxy, /api/website) has no camera list and whose pages link no viewer; the only camera host that was known, drr-kt-svr02.enixma.net, is a vendor-run Wowza Streaming Engine whose root serves the Wowza Manager login page (not a public viewer, and not touched). A web search found no DRR-published public CCTV viewer. No operator list, so no cameras are catalogued; the host stays on the HLS allow-list only for previously verified streams. | A DRR-published camera list or viewer URL. |
| #45 | adsb.lol / adsb.fi ADS-B (civil aircraft), adsbdb, planespotters.net; OpenSky (globe sidecar only)Transport | Live civil aircraft over Thailand with type, photo and route detail | ODbL 1.0 (adsb.lol, adsb.fi); adsbdb and planespotters per their terms; OpenSky terms | Partially | aircraft | Civil and military aircraft now have 100-day collection windows and UI replay. Background collector stores changed gzip day/entity segments in MapScale DB; sparse tracks use tested explicit position/speed/heading error budgets. This does not create unobserved historical flights or prove an 80% coverage/accuracy claim. | Deploy the generated additive migration and sole background collector; configure MapScale DB and verify collected history/freshness. |
| #46 | SRT public timetable (railway.co.th/SRTTimetable), OTP Namtang GTFS (rail), BTS/MRT/ARL urban linesTransport | Rail lines, stations, timetables (urban and SRT intercity) and estimated train positions | SRT timetable: published facts, no licence stated; CC-BY (OTP Open Data); OpenStreetMap ODbL for track and stations | Partially | trains | Existing SRT/OTP schedule-derived train simulation retained. Timetable positions are estimates, not live GPS or observed lateness; operation-day assumptions and Turnstile-protected tracker limits remain. | Obtain an authorized live train-position/delay feed and authoritative operation calendars before claiming complete live rail. |
| #47 | OTP Namtang GTFS buses (namtang-api.otp.go.th)Transport | 1 796 bus routes, 16 329 stops, 92 operators | Creative Commons CC-BY (OTP Open Data) | Partially | buses | Existing OTP static route/stop catalogue retained. Static stops, routes and memberships do not provide real bus locations, observed arrivals or prediction data. | A publisher-authorized live vehicle feed is still needed; retain static labels and bounded detail retrieval. |
| #48 | Traffic density (OpenStreetMap road class + time of day)Transport | Illustrative road load by class and Bangkok hour | ODbL 1.0 (road geometry) | Partially | traffic-flow | Time-of-day simulation remains explicitly modelled. Original DOH public detector chart exposes measured speed (km/h) and volume (vehicles/hour), separate from CCTV frames. Uncalibrated camera images cannot establish per-car speed or speeding. | Use verified detector station measurements; nationwide posted limits and calibrated CCTV traffic analytics remain incomplete. |
| #49 | Ministry of Transport (datagov.mot.go.th) road accident recordsTransport / safety | Accident hotspots | Thai Open Data Common | Integrated | accident-hotspots | Imported once from the 2026 accident CSV. | Refresh yearly. |
| #50 | AISstream vessel telemetry (civil ships)Sea | Ship positions, Bay of Bengal to the South China Sea | AISstream terms (key required) | Partially | ships | Civil AIS history now has 30-day gzip daily/entity database retention with background collection and replay. AISstream documentation recommends applications persist events they cannot afford to lose; no manufactured retention-approval gate. | Set AISSTREAM_API_KEY and MAPSCALE_DATABASE_URL; apply migration/run collector. Retention starts at collection, not retroactively. |
| #51 | Treasury Department (กรมธนารักษ์) official land appraisal, catalog.treasury.go.th dataset land-valuationProperty | 33 113 540 appraised parcels (THB per sq wah) condensed to median / P10 / P90 per cadastral map sheet: 223 102 sheets, 500 m in towns and 2 km in the country | Open Data Common (flagged no restriction); publisher updates every 4 years, files dated 2025-04 to 2026-05 | Integrated | land-value | Built once through the Thai exit node (scripts/build-atlas-land-value.ts). The CSV has no coordinates or deed ids, only the map-sheet key, so the layer decodes the UTM sheet grid (Indian 1975 / UTM 47N and 48N) and publishes sheet statistics, never a per-parcel value; placement error is tens of metres. An appraisal is a state tax valuation, not a market price. The DOL LandsMaps parcel service is not used: no documented bulk or API terms. | Re-import when the Treasury publishes the next 4-year round; ask DOL for terms on parcel geometry. |
| #52 | TPN public project directory (BaanMe) with Atlas flood gradeProperty | Condo and housing projects, each graded for flood risk from the coast model and the heavy-rain street model | Proplink (own data) | Integrated | projects | Feed from the public directory; the grade combines sea level plus sinking land, the 2026 heavy-rain model (Bangkok only) and flood history. Moobans without a project record are not listed. Images come from cdn.thaipropertiesnetwork.com and YouTube thumbnails (i.ytimg.com). | Cover housing estates (moobans) outside the TPN directory. |
| #53 | Department of Lands (DOL) parcel boundaries and LandsMapsProperty | Plot-level geometry and deed data | No documented bulk or API terms | Not integrated | none | Per-parcel Treasury/DOL lookup is constrained to an explicit individual user action. Existing map-sheet medians are not parcel appraisals. No verified authorized parcel JSON API or bulk geometry terms were established. | Use the official Treasury/DOL workflow for the selected parcel; identity-bound lookup must be performed by its authorized user. |
| #54 | Department of Industrial Works (DIW) factory location registry, data.go.th a4e85b60Business | 42 621 registered factories (41 340 operating, 1 281 temporarily closed) with industry group 1 to 107 | Open Data Common | Integrated | factories | Imported once from seven regional CSVs through the Thai exit node. It is an April 2023 registry snapshot, not today's register; 222 rows without usable coordinates or outside their province were dropped. Covers DIW-registered type 2 and 3 plants only. | Re-import when DIW republishes the registry. |
| #55 | Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) estate pages + OpenStreetMap industrial-estate footprintsBusiness | 61 estate footprints with name, stated area, address and the factories inside | Creative Commons Attributions (data.go.th listing); ODbL for OSM boundaries | Integrated | industrial-estates | Imported once. IEAT coordinates are unreliable (several share placeholder positions) so they are used only when plausible; 3 estates have no usable position and are omitted, 12 are points without a footprint. IEAT ownership type is not published, so none is claimed. | Official IEAT boundary polygons with a licence. |
| #56 | Department of Business Development (DBD) new company registrations, dataset_11_01Business | 407 051 new-company records, Jan 2022 to Aug 2026, by district and month | Open Data Common | Integrated | company-registrations | Imported once from monthly CSVs through the Thai exit node. Counts are at the registered-office address; 12 245 rows without a recognisable province and 1 056 without a district are left out. New registrations only, not the stock of active companies or closures. | Monthly refresh, ideally from a worker. |
| #57 | NESDC Gross Regional and Provincial Product reports (editions 2564 and 2566)Business | GPP, GPP per capita and 19 sectors per province, 2014 to 2021, plus the 2023 per-capita ranking | NESDC statistical publication (catalogued as Open Data Common); citation requested | Integrated | gpp | Parsed once from the report PDFs (the live nesdc.go.th links are gone, so the Internet Archive copies were used); totals reconcile with GDP. The two editions are revised separately, so 2023 is not strictly comparable to 2021. | Parse the next NESDC edition when published. |
| #58 | Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) crop production by province (catalog.oae.go.th)Agriculture | Planted and harvested area and production per province for main and second rice, cassava, feed maize, rubber, oil palm (years back to 1980 where published) | Open Data Common for these six; many other OAE crops are CC BY-NC | Partially | crop-production | Existing six OAE commercially reusable crop series retained. Alternative MHESI/GISTDA catalogue advertises Open Data Common crop points and a real rice sample was verified, but a key-bound point query does not establish nationwide crop geometry or bulk-access terms. | Confirm API key/bulk terms and crop footprint semantics; NC OAE fruit series remain excluded absent permission. |
| #59 | IFPRI SPAM 2020 v2r2 (Harvard Dataverse doi:10.7910/DVN/SWPENT)Agriculture | 33 crops at 5 arc-minute (about 9 km): area, harvested area, production, predominant crop | CC BY 4.0 (commercial use allowed) | Partially | regional-crops | SPAM is a circa-2020 statistical crop-allocation model. Prior badly-off claims mixed years, physical/planted area and rice seasons; they were not a validated error assessment. Matched-2020 diagnostics from licensed public CGIAR COGs include 242 comparable province/crop rows. Province allocation differs materially even when national totals agree; missing official rows are unknown. | Retain the matched comparison and distinguish missing official targets from actual zero. Matching province totals by calibration does not validate within-province crop placement. |
| #60 | ESA WorldCover 2021 v200 (10 m land cover)Agriculture | Land cover shares (trees, cropland, built-up, water, mangrove and more) per district and province | CC BY 4.0 | Partially | land-use, regional-crops | Aggregated once from the 1/16 overview (about 150 m) for the land-use shares; the farmland map reads overview 2 (40 m) to place field crops on cropland at about 185 m. Rubber, oil palm and orchards are classed as tree cover, so 'cropland' means field crops and paddy only. Also feeds the coast model's present-day water mask. View in flux. | None for cover; LDD land-use classes would split tree crops but are CC BY-NC-ND. |
| #61 | Wang et al. 2023, Nature: high-resolution maps of rubber and rubber-related deforestation for Southeast Asia (Zenodo 10.5281/zenodo.8425153)Agriculture | 10 m rubber plantation extent for 2021 (read around every 9 km cell with rubber) | CC BY 4.0 | Integrated | regional-crops | Used only to place rubber on the farmland map (scripts/build-agriculture-fields.ts). Around cells with rubber it covers about 1.6 Mha of the roughly 3.8 Mha in the statistics, so rubber is thinner on the map than in the tables. | None. |
| #62 | Descals et al. 2024, ESSD: global oil palm extent and planting year 1990 to 2021 (Zenodo 10.5281/zenodo.13379129)Agriculture | 10 m industrial and smallholder oil palm extent (2021) | CC BY 4.0 | Integrated | regional-crops | Used only to place oil palm on the farmland map. It covers about 0.46 Mha of the roughly 1.08 Mha in the statistics. | None. |
| #63 | HDX tha-ndvi-subnational (NASA MODIS aggregated by WFP / FAO)Agriculture | 10-day NDVI as % of its long-term average: 76 provinces full series (170 dekads to 2026-09-11), 798 districts latest dekad | CC BY | Partially | vegetation-stress | Imported once. A satellite greenness anomaly, not a record of crop loss. MODIS Aqua/Terra may be decommissioned in 2026, so the series may stop. View in flux. | Move to a Sentinel-2 or VIIRS NDVI source if MODIS ends. |
| #64 | Land Development Department (LDD) land-use and crop-suitability layersAgriculture | Field-level land use with crop classes, soil and suitability | CC BY-NC-ND or BY-ND | Not integrated | none | The licences forbid commercial use or derivatives (re-encoding or aggregating counts as a derivative), and the 21-01 metadata URL returns 404. Not used. | Written LDD permission for commercial derivative use. |
| #65 | RID irrigated areas (gisportal.rid.go.th) and DDPM / OAE drought-affected areaAgriculture | Irrigated area by province; drought-affected farmland | n/a | Not integrated | none | The RID national project layer times out even from the Thai exit node and the legacy portal has no REST service; data.go.th has only single-province fragments. No national drought-area table exists, so the NDVI anomaly and rainfall deficit stand in. RID reservoir storage is already in the water topic. | A working RID GIS service or an OAE national table. |
| #66 | HDX COD population (NSO 2010 census projected to 2023), CHIRPS rainfall, NOAA NCEI tsunamiSociety | Population, density, ageing at province and district level; rainfall vs normal; 2004 tsunami observations | CC BY-IGO (population); CC BY (CHIRPS/WFP); NOAA open | Integrated | population, ageing, rainfall-deficit, rainfall-annual, tsunami | Imported once; population is a projection, not a census count, and only admin levels 1 and 2 exist (no subdistricts). 130 small districts lack CHIRPS rows and fall back to the province. Tsunami is served live by the MapScale API. | Annual refresh; NSO 2020 census tables would need a licence check. |
| #67 | Other 'GIS Google of Thailand' layers: NSO census, poverty, health, schools, land use, utilitiesSociety | The wider set of national statistics and facility layers | Mixed; many LDD / HII layers are CC BY-NC(-ND) | Not integrated | none | Population/ageing, GPP, registrations, factories, land value and crop data are in. The rest is blocked one dataset at a time: licences that forbid commercial or derivative use (LDD land use, HII), geo-blocked or 404 catalogues, and single-province fragments instead of national tables. The ledger section below lists each candidate with its blocker. | Pick the next topic from the ledger (health, schools, poverty) and verify licence plus a national table first. |
| #511 | DOPA village natural-resource survey (GD Catalog gdpublish-762)Society | 77 province source files:82880 raw rows,78322 identified villages;3274 authentic village coordinates;province reporting coverage and raw indicator codes | Open Data Common per publisher catalog | Partially | natural-resources | All77 provincial JSON resources and dictionary downloaded with provenance hashes. Two resources empty;41 indicator definitions blank. Located villages use original coordinates; province shading shows reporting coverage, not resource abundance. | Ask publisher for indicator definitions and refresh source files; never invent labels or missing village positions. |
| #68 | adsb.lol /v2/mil (adsbdb military flag), adsb.fi fallbackSecurity / military | Military aircraft that broadcast ADS-B or are multilaterated, Southeast Asia and Bay of Bengal | ODbL 1.0 | Partially | military-aircraft | Observable military ADS-B history uses a 100-day UI/backend window and durable MapScale daily/entity gzip storage. Restart/99-day replay and expiry verified in real isolated Postgres. Transponder-off aircraft remain invisible. | Apply migration and run the dedicated collector in production; no claim that 100 days already exist. |
| #69 | AISstream, naval and law-enforcement subset (AIS type 35/55, navy name prefixes)Security / military | Navy and coast-guard vessels, last-seen positions for 30 days (replay 7 days) | AISstream terms | Partially | military-vessels | Same collector as civil ships plus the position history. Vessels that switch AIS off are not visible, which the legend states. | None. |
| #70 | Public security and crime incidents (police, DDPM, news)Security / military | Crime and incident points | n/a | Not integrated | none | The MapScale 'events' intelligence layer has no verified provider and answers 'unavailable'; the Atlas passes that status through to the legend. Police crime statistics are not published as open point data in Thailand. What is shown: OSM military installations and the accident hotspots. | A police or DDPM open dataset with coordinates and a licence. |
| #71 | OpenStreetMap / Overture Maps military installations (Thailand and neighbours)Security / military | Military land, airfields, naval bases, barracks and ranges, one centre and box per feature | ODbL 1.0 | Integrated | security-events, military-aircraft, military-vessels | Imported once (scripts/build-atlas-military.ts); area is not invented. Shown only with the OSM attribution. Not a list of bases that are active or secret. | None. |
| #72 | Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia lead images for military sitesSecurity / military | Freely licensed photos of bases, with author, licence and file page | Per file: CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0, public domain, GFDL or OGL only; others are dropped | Partially | security-events, military-aircraft | Built once by a polite scraper (scripts/build-atlas-military-photos.ts); the manifest is being extended right now. Geotagged 'nearby' photos may show the surroundings and are labelled so; many sites have no free photo. | Re-run for new sites; no unfree imagery will be added. |
| #73 | OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, MapScale tiles (Thailand pmtiles)Base data | Basemap, road geometry for flooded stretches and the traffic model, canals, buildings and water for the street model | ODbL 1.0 | Integrated | flood-events, heavy-rain, traffic-flow | Vector tiles from tiles.mapscale.io; attribution page required. Overpass servers (overpass-api.de and mirrors) and the Photon geocoder (photon.komoot.io, OSM) are used only by import scripts, never at runtime. | None. |
| #74 | GeoNames cities1000 gazetteerBase data | Place names for the globe and search | CC BY 4.0 | Integrated | none | Imported once (scripts/build-atlas-places.ts) into places.json; credited in the attribution. | None. |
| #75 | MapScale API (intelligence layers, camera catalogue, geocoding)Base data | Passthrough of fires, pollution, weather observations, tsunami, events and the camera catalogue | MapScale terms; each layer carries its own upstream licence | Integrated | fires, aqi-stations, weather-stations, traffic-cameras | First-party API; listed so every upstream behind it is accounted for in its own row. | None. |
| #76 | Esri World Imagery via ArcGIS Location Platform (ibasemaps-api.arcgis.com, API key)Base data | Satellite imagery basemap option (0.3-0.5 m over Thailand) | Esri Master License Agreement via ArcGIS Location Platform; commercial public apps allowed; 'Powered by Esri' + data credit required | Integrated | none | A basemap choice in the Atlas engine, loaded by the browser with a public key. The anonymous services.arcgisonline.com tiles are not licensed for commercial use, so production without a key hides Satellite. | Keep the key referrer-restricted with pay-as-you-go and a budget alert; get Esri's written confirmation of the use. |
| #77 | OpenRouter language model (Ask Atlas chat)Base data | Natural-language answers over the Atlas data | OpenRouter and model provider terms; key required | Integrated | none | Called from /api/atlas/chat with reasoning disabled; not a data source, listed because it is an external host in the code. | None. |
| #78 | GISTDA coastal radar CCTV (coastalradar.gistda.or.th, page=cctv)Weather | 1 camera | n/a | Not integrated | none | Checked 2026-10-06. The page's only stream is a commented-out video tag pointing at http://202.29.107.50/<token>/playlist.m3u8 (plain http, token in the path); that host does not answer, directly or through a Bangkok exit. The page itself serves a Windows-Media-Player embed with an empty source. Nothing to read. | A GISTDA-published HTTPS stream or still URL. |
Other sources considered
Sources from the MapScale source ledger that no layer uses yet, with the reason and the next step.
| # | Source | What it gives | Licence | Status | Layers | Why / how | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| #79 | CelesTrakSpace | Active satellites, Starlink, stations, weather/science/military categories | CelesTrak terms/attribution; confirm current access limits | Partially | satellites | Atlas map adds SGP4-propagated CelesTrak positions with epoch and estimated-position labels. Configured sidecar reused; otherwise direct OMM supports six-digit NORAD IDs with durable six-hour request/cooldown governor. Direct provider timed out in the bounded check. | Verify a fresh upstream download and real rendered satellite positions; keep stale element age visible. |
| #80 | Public launch data provider (vendor Atlas route)Space | Upcoming/recent launches | Provider and licensing need explicit source review | Partially | rocket-launches | Launch Library 2 launch-pad/schedule feed and map layer added, using configured sidecar or keyless direct fallback. Direct live parser yielded 24 located launch records. Pads are not moving rocket positions. | Maintain provider cache/access policy and source schedule status. |
| #81 | USGS Earthquake APIHazards | Recent earthquake reports | USGS public data; attribution per provider docs | Partially | earthquakes | Direct USGS 30-day regional events and TMD local events are integrated into separate source-labelled earthquake records. Actual acquired payloads parsed successfully; source identities preserved rather than invented deduplication. | Monitor provider health/source timestamps; event matching across catalogs is not complete. |
| #82 | GISTDA wildfire catalogueFire | Thailand fire/event context, burn scars and recurrence | Per-resource licence/API terms must be checked | Not integrated | none | Catalogue existence does not prove feed or current coverage | Audit selected resources and connect only rights-cleared feed |
| #83 | NOAA nowCOAST / GOES / partner satellite imageryWeather / imagery | Cloud movement and precipitation context | NOAA disclaimer/credits; input imagery sources retain terms | Partially | clouds | NOAA nowCOAST global longwave infrared mosaic covers Thailand. Exact hourly capabilities/frame and real PNG verified; Atlas raster and source timestamp added. Regional GOES/MRMS are not presented as Thailand rain. | Actual Chromium verified the loaded infrared raster; maintain source frame/freshness. Image brightness is cloud temperature context, not rainfall rate. |
| #84 | NOAA nowCOAST MRMS radar imageryWeather / precipitation | Observed radar precipitation over Thailand | NOAA source disclaimer; MRMS coverage/product limits | Partially | none | MRMS base reflectivity coverage is contiguous United States; it cannot show observed Thai rainfall. Do not render it as a Thailand radar layer. | Find a Thailand-covering radar mosaic from TMD or another licensed provider; retain source timestamps and distinguish reflectivity from rainfall rate. |
| #85 | TMD wind observationsWeather / wind | Observed wind speed/direction at stations | Resource-specific TMD terms | Partially | none | Discrete three-hour station observations; no continuous interpolated field or history in this feed. Bangkok bbox had no hydro stations in this response. | Render measurements separate from GFS model field |
| #86 | TMD Hydro rainfall feedsWeather / rainfall | Observed rain measurements at stations | Open Data Common stated for four specific XML feeds | Integrated | none | Integrated TMD WeatherToday + Weather3HoursByHydro service and Atlas national snapshot; data was directly parsed by source and confirmed through the safe preview API. | Maintain exact merged count and observedAt semantics; inventory any other TMD station feeds only after comparing station IDs and periods. Render measurement first and keep rain/temp fields independently labeled. |
| #87 | Thai Hydrographic Department, DMCR, EGAT/coastal stations, IOC/GOOS buoy candidatesWeather / marine | Observed wave heights, period and direction combined with forecasts | Each network needs endpoint and redistribution/attribution review | Not integrated | none | Observed Thai marine buoy candidates remain distinct from integrated NOAA forecast model; no new validated instrument wave feed was connected. | Obtain public primary wave instrument payload/units/coordinates/timestamps and commercial terms; tides alone are not wave heights. |
| #88 | TMD forecasts / Open-Meteo or NOAA model productsWeather / forecast | Temperature/rain forecasts layered alongside observations | Provider-specific terms | Not integrated | none | Do not conflate forecast and observations | Inventory forecast products, valid time, grid and terms per layer |
| #89 | BMA Floodboard, road-flood, canal monitoringFlood / live | Live road flooding, rainfall and canal levels | Owner permission noted for BMA monitoring/canal/road feeds on 2026-09-27 in attribution.ts | Partially | none | Public access was denied in these bounded requests; this does not establish universal provider denial. Floodboard, BMA road depth and canal height remain distinct datasets/units. Access denied when checked. | Verify authorized production freshness/counts per feed and expose sensor metadata/history; preserve unavailable status on denied access. |
| #90 | Department of Water Resources (DWR) river stations/CCTV reportsFlood / live | Live water level/flood corroboration | Catalogue licence unspecified for CCTV-derived reports | Partially | flood-cameras | Original DWR public CCTV catalogue revalidated in Chromium through TPN: 122 records, publisher totalCount 122. Existing original station-coordinate/latest-frame adapter retained; catalogue success does not prove every camera picture. | Validate per-camera source-frame freshness and authorized direct observation feeds separately. |
| #91 | GISTDA Disaster Platform APIFlood / live and recent extent | Flood areas for 1/3/7/30 days and recurrent flood map | Register, verify per API terms and attribution | Not integrated | none | GISTDA services/open-api legacy path no longer exposes a working API. Current service portal and resource-specific access/terms require a verified account/API contract. | Use current GISTDA service application; record actual dataset rights, API scopes and attribution before ingesting. |
| #92 | UNOSAT FL20210928THAFlood / historical event | Historical flood observations covering central/western regions and surrounding provinces | CC BY-SA per UNOSAT/HDX evidence recorded in code | Partially | flood-events | Existing UNOSAT event archives remain product-scoped. Catalogue references and duplicate event leads do not establish that FL20210928THA is imported; verify the exact product observation passes and regional geometry. | See additional-source audit for exact product manifests and missing archives. |
| #93 | Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) flood marksFlood / historical event | Observed flood marks for historical event evidence | CC BY-NC; written commercial permission required | Not integrated | none | Primary HII flood-mark metadata declares CC Attribution Non-Commercial; survey heights are metres above mean sea level, not flood depth. | Obtain commercial reuse permission or choose a licensed observed-event alternative. |
| #94 | Open Development Mekong (ODM) flood WFS/WMSFlood / historical event | Historical Thailand flood footprints | No licence given; unclear copyright | Not integrated | none | ODM historic flood resource states No license given / Unclear copyright. Discovery via WFS/WMS does not establish redistribution rights. | Obtain rights from the primary owner or use licensed UNOSAT/Copernicus alternatives. |
| #95 | Copernicus CEMS GFM / EFAS / GloFASFlood / forecast and historic | Global flood monitoring/forecast candidates | CEMS Floods licence applies; confirm exact product conditions | Partially | cems-river-forecast, cems-flood-hazard | Public Copernicus CEMS/GloFAS WMS adds a real Thailand 1–3-day modelled river-discharge-exceedance layer and static 100-year hazard layer, using bounded dated PNG proxy. GFM observed extent is kept separate; transparent samples do not prove coverage. | Maintain CEMS attribution and valid/model-run dates; do not label forecast/hazard as observed flood. |
| #96 | Sentinel-1 / Copernicus Emergency Management productsFlood / satellite observation | Rapid satellite flood extent; imagery evidence | Copernicus data policy/attribution; derived product rights vary | Partially | flood-events, cems-flood-september-2024 | Existing EOS-RS/UNOSAT products retained. Two primary Copernicus GFM Sentinel-1 September 2024 scenes now render through bounded scene proxies. Official binary semantics validated: only class 1 is flood; 0 dry, 255 no-data. Nonempty original flood pixels verified. | Keep exact scene times and footprint gaps visible; blank tiles do not establish dry ground. |
| #97 | GISTDA LiDAR/DEM; NASA ICESat-2; elevation gridsFlood / terrain | Terrain, drainage, estimated depth context | GISTDA product rights need per-resource confirmation; other source licences vary | Partially | sea-level-rise, flash-flood-risk | Existing licensed Copernicus/GEDTM terrain models retained. NASA ICESat-2 is sampled elevation, not a complete national bare-earth DTM; no new Thai LiDAR resource is imported. | Use only rights-cleared measured assets with datum and coverage validation; do not claim LiDAR-backed parcel accuracy. |
| #98 | DWR flood/drought risk RAR/SHPFlood / terrain risk | Regional historical hazard/risk context | Catalogue licence unspecified per source guide | Partially | cems-flood-hazard | Direct DWR national RAR/SHP risk source remains unverified. A separate commercially reusable Copernicus global 100-year flood-hazard map is added as explicitly modelled alternative, not rebranded DWR data. | Resolve DWR resource access/terms if source-specific coverage is required. |
| #99 | TomTom TrafficTransportation / traffic | Live congestion/flow overlay | Commercial API terms/key | Partially | traffic-flow | User-supplied key verified against primary Bangkok flow API. Original TomTom relative0 raster road flow renders on MapScale via a same-origin server proxy; real Chromium loaded 30 tiles with HTTP 200 and no page errors. Server-only key, 120-second transient cache, bounded queue and request ceiling; no historical retention or posted-limit inference. | Operator must provision masked production key (agent CI-variable access returns 403), confirm account-specific Traffic terms/caching and account quota across both consumers. No key is committed or embedded in browser code. |
| #100 | Google Maps traffic snapshotTransportation / traffic | Traffic evidence/corroboration | Restricted; written contract needed for continuous capture/use | Partially | none | Do not scrape continuously or present as confirmed flood evidence | Pursue licence or keep out of public integration |
